The city of Toronto no longer mails a Fun Guide to previous particiant's homes.

The first day of the 2010 season is Monday, May 3, 2010.

Coaches Needed!!

The Sorauren Park Sports Association is gearing up for our 2010 children's sports season. The great fun and community spirit that takes place in our park would not be possible without the tremendous support of our parent volunteer coaches.

We are now searching for volunteer coaches for the upcoming spring/summer season. In particular, we are in need of coaches for our most popular house league, the 4-6 year old soccer (mixed boys/girls). With the 4-6 leagues being the entry point for most youngsters in our community, we are always on the hunt for parents who might like to coach their children's team. Coaching positions are also available for the park's other leagues (Soccer 6-8, 8-10 and 10-13; T-ball 4-6, T-Rex ball 7-9 and Rookie Ball 9-13).

No prior coaching experience is required, just a bit of energy and enthusiam to help our children have fun and get some exercise. A short crash-course will be provided prior to season start. The season begins the first week of May, with weekly games in the early evenings that run for 13 weeks.

Please spread the word. If you know other parents in the community who might like to coach, let them know to contact us.
